How difficult is the Kudremukha trek?
It is a moderate 18 km round trip trek with a steady gradient. Reasonable fitness is enough — no technical skills required. Wear comfortable trekking shoes.
Do we need a trek permit?
Yes. The trek is inside Kudremukha National Park and needs a Forest Department permit which we arrange for you. Carry a valid photo ID.
What should I pack?
Trekking shoes, a light jacket, cap, sunscreen, water bottle, quick-drying clothes, small backpack and personal medication.
Is it safe in the monsoon?
The peak trek is closed during peak monsoon (June–August) due to leeches and slippery conditions. Sept–March is the best window.
Can I customise the trip?
Yes. We can add Mullayanagiri, Kalhatti Falls or Chikkamagaluru coffee estate stays to extend the trip.
