Is Srisailam darshan crowded?
Weekends and Mahashivaratri see very heavy crowds. Weekday visits and mornings offer relatively easier darshan. Special sparsha darshan tickets can be arranged on request.
Is a Tungabhadra snana at Mantralayam recommended?
Yes. Devotees traditionally take a bath in the Tungabhadra river before Raghavendra Swamy darshan. Changing rooms and safe ghats are available near the mutt.
Are all Nava Narasimha temples accessible?
The Lower Ahobilam temples and some Upper Ahobilam shrines are vehicle-accessible. Reaching all nine Narasimha temples requires forest treks and is done only by ardent devotees with local guides.
Is this itinerary suitable for seniors?
Mantralayam, Srisailam and Mahanandi are senior-friendly. Ahobilam involves hilly roads and some walking — we adjust the plan to comfort levels.
Can we combine this with Tirupati?
Yes. Tirupati Balaji darshan can be added on the return leg with an additional day.
